Water beads— beads inside squishy toys expand larger than permitted
Toyworld168 recalled Rainbow Mystery Squishy Bun toys (CPSC, 17 Sep 2026) because the water beads inside violate the mandatory toy standard.
What they needed
A lab that can test water-bead expansion — one of the rarest scopes on the CPSC list.
What we bring
Bureau Veritas Buffalo — only lab in the 73-lab file whose scope explicitly lists Water Beads.

- Scope
- Water Beads and Toy Safety ASTM F963-23
What it unlocks
The scarcest match in this set: when only one lab lists the scope, the introduction itself is the value.
